I completely misread that at first as a having a little PacMan guy spouting out sermons in robot-ese and thought "you've got to be kidding! Pastoring of any kind is so a role for a real person!" Just the other day, we were sitting in staff, talking about our Facebook page and someone said, "Shouldn't we have a staff position to do this?" As more and more of our "stuff" goes online (commerce, news and information, education, etc.), we in the church would be naive to think our people won't expect the same of their faith life. Could even be worth putting the word out among our youth groups? Much more effort is required or in realising the importance of how people talk and communicate these days. Technology is too easily dismissed in most churches and websites are quite often just thrown together. Great post. I totally agree.
