Thanks to Joshua Harris’ blog, I came across a great initiative from Covenant Life Church – GiveUgandaWater.org. I discovered that US$23 provides one person with water for the rest of their life. I’ve only experienced thirst for very short periods of time – I can’t imagine what it would be like to not know where my next drink was coming from. So I was moved to support this ministry.
However, I realised I could do more, and I created a banner, linked to GiveUgandaWater and placed it throughout Communicate Jesus:
I then realised this would be a great way of promoting Christian ministries that might otherwise find advertising their valuable work difficult. So, I’m opening up one of the advertising slots on Communicate Jesus per month, and inviting Christian ministries to promote themselves in this space.
