John Piper recently shared how he uses Twitter, including who write his tweets (he does), and how he schedules when his tweets will be posted. I use Cotweet to schedule my tweets for two reaons:
- Only half my followers/blog readers are in Australia (and my timezone), so I try to spread out posts and tweets to be visible at times when a range of people can see them.
- Cotweet enables me to manage multiple accounts, and multiple authors on those accounts (my church’s @cbtbkirribilli account has a couple of authors). It also looks good!
I find it very encouraging to see an older, godly pastor using technology (that many dismiss), to the glory of God.
And in case you’re wondering, I write all my tweets too!

Great post Steve, I wonder what other higher profile Pastors and leaders are online and tweeting & Facebooking. etc?
I can think of Mark Driscoll who seems to get a gazillion comments on FB every time he posts.
