A beautifully done video, but I have this lingering feeling that I can’t shake that it’s just not biblical, though I can’t exactly put a finger on what exactly is just yet.

What do you think is contributing to that feeling? What aspect of the video makes you feel that way?

I share Boyto’s uneasiness, although I love the quality of the presentation (and the music!). I guess it boils down to a question of what did Jesus come to do? A question the video seems to answer as: to relate to the poor and needy, to get messy etc. The motivation being that we should therefore see our life’s goal as the same. Surely the Christian’s life ambition should be to see the Kingdom extended through the gospel and see people given a hope that outlasts this world? Social concern and loving others is a natural (and essential) outflowing of being a Christian and following Christ, but not the main way we change the world.
