10+ examples of religious billboards

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking recently about the value of billboards for ‘religious’ advertising.

I was curious to learn on the weekend about this new campaign by an Islamic group to “find common ground between Christians and Muslims”. It reminded me of a few other billboard campaigns in Australia and around the world, and inspired me to see what others had done.

Here’s a collection of Islamic, Christian and atheist billboard campaigns. If you’ve seen others, feel free to share them by posting a link in the comments section below. What do you think about these campaigns?

    Hey Steve,

At COC we got a billboard to promote our Church coming in and out of town. Because of our location the price was reasonable and it becomes really helpful when we promote our major community outreach events. For instance we are doing our Summer VBS in a little bit, and we have put up a specific skin on the billboard to promote it.

Great Exposure, great community impact. We team them with 2 vans that we have wrapped in COC promotions. Both get really good impressions and branding for our town. We have had a great deal of success with leveraging a billboard for our church.
