Billboard: Dear Aussie Muslims…

This poster was recently erected beside a main road in Sydney:

It was featured on the Sydney Morning Herald. The poster invites people to visit the MyPeace website. Diaa Mohamed – the man behind the campaign, was interviewed by the Centre for Public Christianity.

A group of Christians has launched a response to continue the conversation – the billboard went up today. Here’s the billboard:

And here’s the billboard in situ:

The billboard invites passers-by to visit the website www.aussiechristians.com.au.

UPDATE

Here’s the latest version of the billboard:

Assuming this poster is in place, it seems to me that website that people are directed to doesn’t actually exist.

This isn’t something similar to what happened with the Jesus All About Life campaign with web material is it?

Why not take this oppertunity to order you free Quran & literature from the mypeace website, in order to better understand what Muslims believe, how we can counter their claims and show them the real Jesus.

That URL has a placemarker saying the site will be up by midnight.

Hi Guys, Hope that you have seen that the site has gone up, maybe it was a few minutes after midnight :)

Another great website to check out is: http://www.refutingmypeace.com.au they provide a wealth of information about islam, a clear gospel message and great apologetics.

The dangerous ‘new’ concept of merging Christianity with Islam (or Chrislam, as it’s being coined) was eloquently illustrated in C.S. Lewis’ book, “The Last Battle”, where the Calormene tried to
merge their ‘god’, Tash, with Aslan to create “Tashlan”.  I am so encouraged to see Aussie Christians respond with such gentleness and kindness.  They shall know we are Christians by our love…

I am so encouraged to see Refuting My Peace:  refutingmypeace.com.au respond with such gentleness and kindness whilst speaking the truth in love and boldness and not compromising the truth in the name of love and beat around the bush.
