Church marketing idea: Ask members to describe the church community

We asked members of our campus at Lavender Bay to describe the community at church. We turned their responses into a word cloud, and placed them on a postcard:

This postcard has been placed in letterboxes, and handed out to locals at the train station.

This approach seeks to highlight the benefits of belonging.

We are an imperfect community, but we’re a genuinely loving, accepting and joyful community – and we think this is something the world needs and wants. By joining us, we pray that people will discover the hope, joy and purpose found by knowing Jesus.
