I've been using Lucidchart recently to map out processes for communicating with event delegates and website subscribers. Here's a simple example of a process I designed last week – it describes how I want to follow up people who visit the BASECAMP website and subscribe to event updates:
This example is intentionally basic to provide an illustration, but in a team setting the discipline of mapping out systems and processes like draws all parties onto the same page. Everyone knows what is happening at every point of the process, and has the opportunity to make suggestions for what could be improved.
