A Free Post-Event Report Template

Use this comprehensive 10-page template to capture your achievements and record your learnings to remember and build on your event success.

In 2014 I joined the team at Katoomba Christian Convention - an organisation that has been running conferences for more than 110 years! I have learned a lot in this time about what it takes to run a great event.  Anyone who is involved in event management knows just how much time and effort goes into event planning and promotion.

In the exhaustion that usually follows events, you probably also know how easy it is to overlook post-event reporting!  And yet, a post-event report is really valuable. It is a way of capturing the key achievements and learnings while they are still fresh in your mind. By doing this, you are better placed to share good news with your stakeholders and able to build on what went well in future events.

To help you, I have created a free, comprehensive post-event report template. You can save it and use it as many times as you like to report on your events.

How to Use the Post-Event Report Template

To use this template, you'll first need to save a copy of it in Google Drive. It's very easy:

     
  1. Open the template.
  2.  
  3. In the menu, click 'File', then 'Make a copy...'.
  4.  
  5. Type a name and choose where to save it.
  6.  
  7. Click 'Ok'.
