At Church by the Bridge this year, we launched a new concept in services called 'Next Steps cards'. These cards are placed on all seats before each service, and people are encouraged to fill them in. As well as being a means of collecting contacting details for newcomer follow-up, they are designed to help people to take the next step. The card is also available online as a form that people can complete at another time. Making it as easy as possible for people to take the next step is an approach I've explored on Tony Morgan's blog, and is well executed on the NewSpring website:.
